The free study hall on the ground floor of our library is designed to meet the long-term and uninterrupted working needs of our users. There are no library materials in this area; Our users can benefit from this area with their own materials. There is electricity and wireless internet access.
The book and reference resources section on the 1st floor of our library serves according to the work schedule on our website. Our hall is divided into book section, reference works and consultation unit. In the reference works section of the Theses and ERF Collection, reserve books are located in the advisory unit. Application works (encyclopedias, dictionaries, atlases, etc.), theses and the reserve collection, which our academics request to be used for a short time and in a controlled manner, are not lent out of the library. Our users can find the book on the shelf themselves by making inquiries from the catalog scanning screens located at various points in our hall. They can get help from the staff in the counseling unit for books and other counseling needs that they cannot find on site. Our hall serves with 4-person desks and 2 group study rooms.
In the periodicals hall on the 2nd floor of our library, periodicals and newspapers are listed in alphabetical order according to the name of the publication; It is included as the last issue and archive section. The periodicals unit, on the other hand, provides our users with access to consultation requests and audiovisual materials (educational materials and theses in CD format, DVD, VCD, CD, floppy disk, videocassettes, audio cassettes, records, music cassettes, films, etc.). Armchairs in the reading area, tables for 4 people, single carrels and 2 group study rooms offer comfortable working areas to our users.
The photocopy unit located on the 2nd floor of our library can meet the reproduction requests of our users from publications and lecture notes that they cannot borrow, in accordance with copyrights, for a fee. In addition, our photocopy unit also provides printing service. Users can use the photocopy service during working hours (08:30 - 17:30) on weekdays.
Menteşe Library computer room was established to support our users' homework, projects and all academic studies. Our hall, located on the 2nd floor of our library and consisting of 20 computers, is open between 08:30 - 17:30 on weekdays. All our users can use computers for a certain period of time by filling out a computer usage form. This period can be extended depending on the intensity and computer demand.
