Turnitin

What is Turnitin?

Turnitin is an online tool used to prevent plagiarism and improper citation in student assignments, projects, and theses. Teachers can use Turnitin to review students' written work and check if it contains citations from other sources.

You can use the Turnitin program for student assignments, theses, reports, and projects.

Pursuant to Article 1 of the "D. Theses" subparagraph of the "Principles Regarding the Opening and Execution of Graduate Education Program" updated by the Council of Higher Education, "Before the graduate education theses are put into defense, the plagiarism program report to be prepared by the relevant student is submitted." condition has been introduced. In order to meet the need arising from this condition, the Turnitin Thesis Plagiarism Control System can be used from the internet ends of our University.

AI Detection As of April 4, 2023, AI-powered text can be detected on the similarity report (currently only English text).
