Due to our ACS subscription, your publications as a corresponding author in ACS journals will be published as open access without paying the Article Processing Charge (APC).
Important Considerations:
Within the framework of the APC Quota Usage Principles of Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University American Chemical Society Publications, which was accepted by the Senate of our University with the decision dated 25/12/2024 and numbered 693/10 and the decision of our Senate dated 17.04.2024 and numbered 682/7, the use of quotas in quarterly periods delays the publication process of the articles and the articles accepted for publication by the publisher company are kept in the pool for a maximum of 15 days for quota approvals, It has been unanimously decided that the decision on the APC Quota Usage Principles of Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University American Chemical Society Publications has been repealed and it is appropriate to evaluate the applications within the framework of the principle of quota use according to the order of publication acceptance, since it was informed that this rule has been relaxed for 2024 for once and that this flexibility will not be provided for 2025.
As of 2023, within the scope of the subscription agreement signed with SAGE Publishing, the APC (Article Processing Fee) to be paid by Muğla University authors to publish Open Access in SAGE Choice journals in the SAGE Premier package has been kept constant at £200. Sage Choice journals consist of Hybrid journals in the Premier package. Gold OA journals are not covered by the agreement.
With the pilot application initiated in BMC journals belonging to Springer Nature publishing house, a 75% APC discount is applied to our country.
Our researchers who publish in 62 BMC journals will pay only 25% of the total APC fee.
