Consultation Services
Consultation service is a service provided face-to-face, by phone or e-mail in order to enable users to access the information and information resources they need in the fast, reliable and most accurate way.
Users are assisted in order to ensure that users benefit from library services effectively and healthily.
- Users' questions about library resources and services are answered face-to-face, by phone or by e-mail.
- Library orientation trainings are provided for newly enrolled students, and group or individual library use and e-resource user trainings are held for undergraduate, graduate students and academic staff in line with the demands. The content of these trainings is organized according to the interests of the requesting group.
- Library promotional trips are made for external users and special guests who come to the library with or without an appointment.
- Users are helped to scan effective and healthy publications from printed and electronic sources.
- Interlibrary borrowing/lending service is provided. A publication that is not in our library is provided for academic staff through the Interlibrary Cooperation Tracking System (KITS) upon request. Likewise, the requests of other libraries included in this system are met.
- Information and training on opening an account for similarity (plagiarism) detection programs and the use of the programs are carried out by the advisory unit.
- Users are assisted in the use of reference management writing programs (Mendeley and Zotero).
- The order of the bookroom shelves is ensured.
